Senior Software Test EngineerLocation: Raleigh NC Pay Rate: 50-70/HR on W2 Monday to Friday (On-site required)1- Conduct comprehensive manual testing to validate software functionality, performance, and user experience across a variety of scenarios.2- Create and maintain test protocol documents as required. Prepare test report documentation, including a complete traceability matrix.3- Ensure all work adheres to SOPs and applicable regulatory standards, including FDA requirements and IEC 62304.4- Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.Strong Test Automation for Desktop GUIHands-on experience automating desktop application UI testingExperience developing automation frameworksSpecific tool mentioned: Squish (for GUI automation)Ability to build and run unit + functional automated test scriptsSenior-Level Experience7+ years in software testingDemonstrated senior-level responsibilities in previous roles (not just years but quality of experience)Solid understanding of QA processes, strategy, and best practicesManual Testing CapabilityAble to perform thorough manual testingValidate functional behavior, performance, and UXAble to design test cases and execute them across different scenariosWell-rounded Testing Skill SetMix of automation + manual testingAdapts to business needs ("other duties as assigned" implies flexibility)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
