Oncology Data Specialist Full‑Time, 100% Remote – Applicants must reside in Texas. Work schedule: Monday‑Friday 7:00am‑3:30pm. Abstract a minimum of six cases per day and at least 35 cases per week. Maintain a 95% accuracy rate in abstracting, suspending, and case‑finding as required. Follow‑up: Identify necessary information for a completed “follow‑up,” maintain follow‑up according to ACoS standards, and obtain information via telephone, internet, Oacis, and Siemens. Enter data obtained. Staging forms: Identify cases eligible for staging, place the proper staging form in the medical record, and identify the physician responsible. Peer review: Review other registrars’ abstracts and provide constructive feedback. Attend at least one state, local, regional, or national meeting annually to comply with ACOS.
