Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our OBGYN, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Williston, specializing in treating and diagnosing women making a significant impact on them and their families. Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of women and their families within CHI St. Alexius Health.

 

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate OBGYN, possessing expertise in routine checkups, diagnosing and treating gynelogical conditions, performing gynelogical surgeries, caring for women throughout pregnancy and childbirth, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment. 

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary teams

• Provide ongoing management and follow-up care 

• Offer guidance and support to patients

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to care

• Stay current with research and best practices to provide evidence-based care

• Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote awareness 

We are offering a generous base salary, a starting bonus, and relocation assistance, in addition to a additional productibity and performance incentives for those who meet the eligibility requirements.

• Generous base compensation $381,910
• Starting loan of up to 10% of base salary
• Quality and Productivity incentives available
• Paid relocation of up to $15,000
• Dedicated nursing staff
• Call 1:4 (Deliver your own babies)
• Ultrasound, NST's, colposcopy and Leeps done in office
• Dedicated Surgical Blocks
• The facility sees 600+ deliveries per year
• Referral network of Primary Care physicians
• Comprehensive Benefits, CME allowance, and more
• Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible Employer

Job Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in OBGYN
• Active or eligible license in the state of North Dakota
• Strong clinical skills with experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with women, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to women and families

Situated at the confluence of the Yellowstone and Missouri Rivers, Williston, North Dakota, covers 23 square miles and is the county seat of Williams County. Located just 60 miles from the Canadian border and 18 miles from the Montana border, Williston is commonly referred to as the “Western Star” and takes pride in its western heritage. While population growth in the area has started to normalize, the  City of Williston experienced explosive growth over the past several years due to increased activity in the oil and gas industry. The City has grown 210% in size since 2010, jumping from a population of 12,120 to 29,160 as of the 2020 Census. This prosperous community has managed its incredible growth issues with great success, and is the sixth most populous city in North Dakota.

Williston’s economy is built on oil, agriculture, and tourism. It is home to over 200 oil service companies. Several of the top ten oil service companies in the world have operations in Williston.
