Body Shop AssistantThe Body Shop Assistant at Baker Collision (Grandville) will assist the collision team in completing various tasks related to repairing damaged vehicles. This is a full-time, hourly position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the industry. As a part of Baker Collision you will play an important role in supporting the team to meet customer satisfaction and quality standards.Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time hourly position paid biweekly. Employees are also eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for automotive training and education.Responsibilities:Pre and post repair clean up/detailing of customer vehiclesClean and maintain work area and toolsReceive and track parts as they enter the shop and dispatch accordinglyRemove trash recycling materials from shop dailyHelp with general maintenance and upkeep of the body shopRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalentPrior experience in a body shop or automotive repair setting is preferredKnowledge of basic automotive repair and maintenanceAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of timeStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsWillingness to learn and take on new challengesMust have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
