Each day presents new challenges, allowing you to showcase your skills and grow in an exciting industry. OPENINGS AVAILABLE MON - FRI ON 2 SHIFTS:2ND: ($1.50 shift diff.) 2PM - 1030PM3RD: ($3.00 shift diff.) 10PM - 630AMTo excel as a Quality Mill Technician at Barrett Petfood, you'll need a strong foundation in basic math, biology, and chemistry to accurately assess and analyze product quality. A keen attention to detail is essential for identifying deviations from our strict GMPs and safety protocols, ensuring that every ingredient and finished product adheres to our high standards. Effective teamwork and communication skills are crucial, as you'll collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of quality and safety.RESPONSIBILITIESInspect and sample incoming grains and raw materials for quality and contamination risksVerify flour grind specificationsSample collection and testing. Perform analytical testing (GA analysis, mycotoxin screening)Maintain lab equipment and cleanlinessMonitor critical control points (CCPs) and preventive controlsDocument and review production records for accuracy and complianceInvestigate non-conformances and support corrective actionsEnsures and verifies that plant departments and employees are adhering to the quality standards and guidelines of the company.Actively monitors, and enforces company GMP'sPrepare and maintain departmental forms and documents.
