Associate Clinical Development Director (MD)

Gilead Sciences seeks an Associate Clinical Development Director with an MD to support clinical development programs in the Virology Therapeutic Area. The role involves contributing to study planning, execution, medical monitoring, regulatory submissions, and data interpretation across multiple clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific expertise to cross-functional teams supporting clinical development deliverables and timelines
• Contribute to development and review of clinical trial protocols, study reports, and regulatory submissions
• Conduct ongoing medical monitoring for clinical trials including eligibility assessment and safety surveillance
• Support collection, review, and interpretation of clinical data for analysis and decision-making
• Prepare and present scientific and clinical information at investigator meetings and conferences

Requirements

• MD degree
• Training or experience in Infectious Diseases, Immunology, Hepatology, or related medical specialty
• Exposure to clinical research through academic, fellowship, or industry-sponsored studies
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to interpret clinical data
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Willingness to travel as needed

Compensation: $226,185.00 - $292,710.00 base
