Schedule

4 days per week, 10-hour shifts with shared on-call rotation.

Assignment Details

Requires holiday coverage.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in SSSU/PACU/Pre/Post.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS/BCLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the SSSU/PACU setting.
• Conduct nursing assessments and provide education to patients.
• Identify and manage post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
• Float to the outpatient services area as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments for special procedures requiring conscious sedation.
