Quality Technician

We're looking for a Quality Technician to support the development and manufacturing of innovative hemostat and wound healing technologies used in healthcare settings around the world. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to Quality Engineering, validation activities, supplier quality, and regulatory compliance while working in a collaborative medical device environment. What You'll Do

• Perform receiving inspection of incoming materials and components to verify compliance with specifications.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Accurately document inspection and testing results and escalate nonconformances when identified.
• Prepare engineering and test samples to support development and validation activities.
• Review manufacturing records and product lot documentation for completeness and compliance.
• Generate and verify product labeling to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Support Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, including procedures, forms, and records.
• Assist with CAPA investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support equipment qualification and validation activities.
• Participate in supplier quality and incoming inspection activities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Quality, Inspection, Manufacturing, Quality Control, or a related technical role.
• Experience using measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other inspection tools.
• Experience documenting inspection results and maintaining accurate records.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, electronics, or other regulated manufacturing experience.
• Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS).
• Exposure to CAPA, nonconformance investigations, or quality improvement activities.
• Experience supporting equipment qualification or validation efforts.
• Associate degree or technical training in a scientific, engineering, or manufacturing discipline.
• Experience reviewing manufacturing or batch documentation.
• Interest in growing into Quality Engineering or other advanced quality roles.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $33.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
