Pay: $20/hr, paid weekly Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (earlier start time available) Hours: Guaranteed 20 hours per week, with additional hours available based on workload and business needs Location: Rochester, NY 14626

Overview

Support daily warehouse and material handling operations. This role is responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory control, material movement, and order fulfillment within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, maintaining accurate inventory records, and following safety and GMP standards.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Inventory Operations

• Receive, store, issue, and distribute materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Load, unload, and transfer materials throughout the facility.
• Pick and issue materials for production work orders.
• Perform physical inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Process inventory transactions and material movements accurately and on time.
• Ensure materials are properly counted, staged, and stored.

Material Handling Equipment

Operate equipment including:

• Sit-down forklifts.
• Stand-up forklifts.
• Side-loader forklifts.
• Pallet jacks.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMP requirements, and safety policies.
• Work safely in narrow aisles and cold-storage environments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Work Environment

This position is based in a warehouse, manufacturing, and laboratory setting. Employees may be exposed to:

• Viral and bacterial materials.
• Hazardous chemicals.
• Infectious or potentially infectious samples, tissues, and bodily fluids.

Flexibility may be required to support production schedules, project deadlines, and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or logistics experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to complete inventory transactions accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and GMP compliance.
