The contract specialist will support the USMS-PD in various government contract matters. This position will liaise with Federal Employees, Contractors, and Divisions throughout the U.S. Marshals Service.Must be a U.S. Citizen.Must be able to undergo and pass a background investigation.Responsibilities :Conduct contract reviews, assist with cradle-to-grave operations, manage order modifications, and handle close-outsWill need to input contracts, task orders, and purchase orders into the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS)Assist government contracting officers with large and small purchase contract actionsReview solicitation packages for completenessAdvise and provide program offices with examples of documents that should be included in a solicitation packageQualificationsRequired Qualifications :Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 24 hours of business creditMinimum 4 years of relevant work experience with an emphasis on contract close-outsMust have working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR 8, 12, and 15)FAC-C Level II or DAWIA Level II is preferredPreferred Qualifications :Recent experience as a Federal Contracting Officer/SpecialistExperience with 100% Small Business Set AsideExperience with 30-day Procurement Action Lead Time (PALT)About MayvinMayvin is more than a workplace—it's a community built on innovation, ingenuity, and impact.
