Lube Technician

Lube TechnicianColonial Chevrolet of Acton is seeking a skilled and experienced Lube Technician to join our team. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and oil changes on vehicles, as well as assisting with other automotive services. This is a part-time position with competitive hourly compensation in the Auto industry. Compensation & Benefits: The compensation for this position is $18 to $25 per hour and is paid weekly.Responsibilities:Perform basic automotive services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements according to manufacturer guidelinesInspect and diagnose customer vehicles, identifying any potential issues or recommended repairsMaintain a clean and organized work area, as well as properly maintaining tools and equipmentCommunicate effectively with service advisors and customers to provide updates on services and any recommended repairsEnsure all services are completed accurately and efficiently, meeting dealership and manufacturer standardsContinuously update knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance techniques through training programs and workshopsAdhere to all safety procedures and guidelines in the shop and on the lotRequirements:Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Lube Technician or in a similar role in the automotive industryKnowledge of automotive systems and maintenance proceduresAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and customer service skillsBasic computer skillsMust have a valid driver's license and pass a background and drug screeningMust have the physical and dexterity ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods of time, and perform repetitive tasksEEOC Statement: Colonial Chevrolet of Acton is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
