Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Certified Public Accountant role based in Stroudsburg, PA. The CPA will prepare and review individual and business tax returns, ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, and support tax planning strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing, analyzing, and reconciling financial statements; supporting audit, review, and compilation engagements; and maintaining accurate accounting records for a variety of clients. The role will also involve collaborating with team members on advisory engagements, addressing client questions, and communicating complex financial information in a clear, accessible manner. The CPA will contribute to process improvements, uphold professional and ethical standards, and support the firm’s focus on niche areas such as not-for-profits, community associations, and governmental entities. Qualifications Strong accounting foundation with skills in Accounting and Finance. Proficiency in preparing, analyzing, and reviewing Financial Statements. Experience and technical expertise in Tax Preparation for individuals and businesses. Active Certified Public Accounting (CPA) license or eligibility to obtain CPA licensure within a defined timeframe. Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with accounting and tax software. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to clients and team members. Ability to work on-site in Stroudsburg, PA, manage multiple engagements, and meet deadlines in a client-focused environment.
