School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist: Impactful Role

Job Description: Speech-Language Pathologist Location: Statesville, North Carolina Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Statesville, North Carolina. The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide prehensive speech and language services to students, working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' munication skills and academic success. Primary Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and munication disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs. Provide therapy to improve students' speech, language, and munication skills. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' educational goals. Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans. Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Provide training and support to teachers and parents on speech and language development. Maintain accurate and confidential records of all services provided. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. North Carolina license or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting. Knowledge of speech and language assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education laws and regulations. Excellent munication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Licensure and Certification Requirements: North Carolina licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist issued by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists. Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from ASHA.
