Specialist, Talent Acquisition - Hard-to-Fill and High Volume Recruiter

SPECIALIST, TALENT ACQUISITION - HARD-TO-FILL AND HIGH VOLUME RECRUITER - ONSITE Denver, CO, United States Applications will be received until June 16. About this job: We are seeking a mission-driven Talent Acquisition professional to support strategies to strengthen and expand initiatives to recruit, hire, retain and advance team members. This specific position will be responsible for strategic recruitment in our highest priority schools and hard‑to‑fill instructional positions, along with CDL Bus Drivers. Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred, along with demonstrated success recruiting for hard‑to‑fill positions. This position is an onsite position located at our main office in downtown Denver. Office hours are between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. In order for schools to open in the fall, we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. What You’ll Do: You will be one of three specialists focused on sourcing and developing innovative recruitment strategies, while using ROI and KPI data to tell the story of our impact. Lead the development, organization and execution of recruitment strategies for campus, community and diversity recruitment activities for local, state, national and international recruitment initiatives. Coordinate and attend recruitment events (job fairs, open houses, conferences, and district-sponsored events) and be responsible for ensuring ROI and KPIs are captured and monitored. Identify, recruit, source, cold call passive candidates and cultivate talented candidates across schools and/or a variety of positions. Determine salaries by assessing experience and education following established guidelines per DPS and/or bargaining unit. Support with preboarding activities such as new hire paperwork and offer letters. Validate qualifications, credentials, and licenses required of school-based hires; verify that candidates meet minimum requirements; and confirm that all new hire documentation is completed and received. Collaborate with Human Resources Partners to monitor and meet client group recruitment objectives. Compile and create data reports and other forms of recruitment and retention statistics; assist in the creation of a variety of state-of-the-art recruitment communications (e.g., banners, advertisements, brochures, web content). Develop and nurture relationships with customers, school principals, community constituents, and partners in institutions of higher education; attend partnership meetings with institutions of higher education, business, community and school partners and serve on school, community and business committees, councils and/or advisory groups. As a team that provides critical operation support for the district, PTO “blackout periods” and “required attendance” are identified for the team (upcoming July 27th – August 31st). Standard blackout periods and required attendance, including evening and weekend work, include but are not limited to district-wide professional development, special school or celebration events, job fairs, hiring events, and peak hiring season. Other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s in Business, Human Resources or a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of education. Three or more years of related recruiting and onboarding experience preferred. Demonstrated success recruiting for hard-to-fill positions. Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high-quality education. Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us. Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
