Registered Nurse - Critical Care/Medical ICU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 (Rotating weekend hours)

The Registered Nurse in the Critical Care/Medical ICU is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment. The nurse will manage a patient load of 2:1 and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for adult patients.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing necessary interventions.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Document patient information and care in the Meditech electronic health record system.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Float as necessary to MSU, PCU, or Telemetry units.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Experience with Meditech EHR is required.
