RN Perioperative Care Unit(PCU) per diem

Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention. Pay range: - Hourly$49.00 - $87.12 We are currently seeking aRegistered Nurse for our Perioperative Care Unit (PCU). This unit is responsible to prepare patients for surgical procedures. Patient populations include Cardio/Thoracic, Gynecology/Oncology, Bariatric, Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and General Surgery. Per diem Day shift 0530-1400 / Evening shift 1300-2130 /Sat/Sun 0530-1400 3 8-hour shifts or combination of 4, 8, 10, & 12 hour shifts per 4 week schedule 1 summer holiday call shift and 1 winter holiday call shift required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing required, BSN preferred. Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington. (May be a multi-State license from a Compact state or a Washington license.) 5+ years recent acute care nursing experience required. Healthcare provider CPR Certification required. ACLS certificationrequired. Recent Pre-op/Phase II nursing experience strongly preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills required. Note - RNs hired into units that require a competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation will be required to take a rhythm assessment in their first week.
