Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties & Responsibilities:
- CNAs will assist nurses and physicians in providing direct care to patients with injuries and acute medical conditions.
- CNAs will provide care by helping patients with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, hygiene, and mobility; monitoring and recording vital signs and patient observations; transporting patients to diagnostic tests/procedures, surgeries, and transfers between units; and maintaining a clean and safe patient environment.
- Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
- Minimum of one (1) year of recent acute care medical-surgical experience in a community-based acute care hospital as a CNA.
- Active Certified Nurse Attendant certification, AHA BLS, MAAB or CPI
- LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City)
- Candidates must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date.
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements ) .
