This 32-Bed unit features self-scheduling, 12-hour shifts, and every-other-weekend rotation, helping promote flexibility and work-life balance. Nurses in this unit benefit from a collaborative team culture, and the opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience.How you'll contributeA Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needsIdentifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventionsProvides care appropriate to condition and age of the patientPerforms timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical recordResponsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patientPerforms timely and accurate QI assessmentsWhat we're looking forApplicants should have a current state RN license. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Additional requirements include:Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.Two or more years of RN Emergency Department experience required.Why join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
