Manager Quality Control Field

Discover a more connected career A successful QC Manager shall be responsible for oversight of quality control inspections and corrections for assigned project(s). The role includes coordinating the efforts of Lead QC Inspectors and QC Inspectors to ensure outside‑plant construction meets customer and company standards for both equipment use and established quality standards. A strong working knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and construction is required, including familiarity with underground plant installation, utility lines, pole attachments, locating equipment, and various telecommunications equipment and their functionality. The candidate must be able to identify and troubleshoot problems. Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Develop processes to ensure completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project(s). Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers to assist an assigned area, department, or project(s). Perform additional duties as assigned. What You’ll Need Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 5 years of related work experience. Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience. Project management skills, including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks. Authorized to work in the United States. Successful completion of pre‑employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.
