Production Line lead

DESCRIPTION POSITION OVERVIEW: The Production Line Leader will work under the supervision of the Production Manager assisting with production line needs. In addition, the Production Line Leader will oversee a group of production packers and loaders on the production line. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee production line to ensure standards are met
- Verify that products are being produced and packaged in accordance to specifications
- Assist with training new production employees
- Quickly troubleshoot issues and keep production line moving efficiently
- Review, check and sign off on work completed by production employees
- Communicate with Production Manager on any line issues
- Other duties as assigned
- Previous production line lead or leadership experience is required
- Direct produce experience is preferred but not required
- Must have the physical ability to read labels efficiently
- Must have basic math skills
- Must have excellent communication & teamwork skills
- Must have a strong sense of detail and observation skills
- Must be willing to work with and manage a diverse workforce
