CT Technologist PRN

Role Overview: This position involves providing safe, age-appropriate diagnostic imaging services with independence and technical proficiency. The technologist sets up equipment, positions patients, and performs a variety of procedures, including CT and radiography, ensuring high-quality results and patient safety. Key Responsibilities: Verifies orders, obtains clinical histories, administers contrast media safely, and reviews images for quality. Maintains patient privacy and comfort, adheres to sterile techniques, and responds to emergencies. Communicates clearly with patients and staff, explains procedures, and documents accurately. Ensures equipment functions correctly, maintains infection control standards, and documents all activities promptly. Supports department operations through patient transport, supply management, and clerical tasks. Participates in quality control, training, and complies with policies and standards. Qualifications & Skills: Requires an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, BLS certification, and a minimum of 1 year radiology experience (CT experience preferred). Must possess excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills. Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and quality control is essential. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is required.
