A retail HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to provide maternity leave coverage for a 16-week contract starting August 24th. This role involves working closely with the current Pharmacy Manager during a two-week training period to ensure a smooth transition.

Location:

• Apopka, FL

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications with a focus on HIV/AIDS specialty prescriptions
• Provide exceptional patient care and support
• Maintain clear and professional communication with patients and healthcare providers
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of prescriptions
• Adhere to pharmacy protocols and regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Florida pharmacist license required
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience
• HIV/AIDS medication dispensing experience must be explicitly noted on the resume, regardless of experience level
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software highly preferred; candidates should indicate if they have this experience
• Strong commitment to punctuality and attendance
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills for effective patient and provider communication
