About this role:

We are looking for a Critical Care Intensivist with a strong background in cardiac critical care to work at Intermountain Medical Center, the premier academic medical center and flagship quaternary hospital for Intermountain Health. This state-of-the-art facility currently has 96 ICU beds and 4 specialized ICUs and is in the process of expanding. Intermountain Medical Center is ranked in the United States for MI survival treatment and is a Three Star STS Cardiac Surgery Hospital.

As a physician in the Coronary Intensive Care Unit (CICU) you will work in a 24-bed unit that specializes in the care of non-surgical cardiac patients, including cardiogenic shock, advanced heart failure , cardiac arrest, STEMI, p ulmonary h ypertension, pulmonary embolism, unstable arrhythmias, and percutaneous valvular interventions. The CICU manage s several advanced therapies such as pulmonary artery catheters, CRRT, Impella s , LVADs, IABPs and ventilators.

In this role you can anticipate:

• Providing care in a 24 bed Coronary Intensive Care Unit at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah
• Ten 14.5-hour night shifts per month ; including a mix of shifts mid-week, weekends, and holidays (5PM-7:30AM)
• No call expectation
• An ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac critical care

How we'll support you:

• Competitive Compensation: $480,000.00 annual salary
• Incentives: $30,000 starting bonus, and up to $20,000 relocation assistance (if applicable)

What you'll bring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Residency training in Cardiovascular, Internal Medicine, Anesthesia or Emergency Medicine
• Board certification or eligibility in Critical Care Medicine
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
