Associate Principal (Building Enclosure)

What You'll Do Consulting services for the built environment including specialized building enclosure and structural testing, building enclosure and structural consulting, forensic investigations, property condition assessments, and design of repairs to existing structures. Lead and coach junior staff members to develop technical expertise, project management, and client relationship skills. Project management tasks such as scoping projects; preparing and reviewing proposals; assisting project managers; preparing and reviewing technical reports; preparing and reviewing technical drawings and specifications for construction. Business development and marketing of services by maintaining and developing strong client relationships. Participate in local and regional professional and industry organizations. Participate in technical groups within ECS to facilitate knowledge sharing across the company. What We're Looking For 12+ years of relevant professional experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical and demonstrable problem solving aptitude. Ability to collaborate and guide multidisciplinary teams through complex projects. Licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Architect. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Architectural Engineering with expertise and experience in Building Enclosure and/or Structural Engineering services. Master’s Degree preferred. Preferred candidate background: similar Associate Principal or Principal designation from competitor firm; consideration given to candidates with exemplary experience and background.
