Job Exempt: No Work Shift: 12 Hour Nights (United States of America) Responsibilities The Registered Nurse (RN) working in Cardiac Critical Care is responsible for providing advanced care to critically ill patients with complex cardiac conditions. The ideal candidate is a dedicated professional with a passion for excellence, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to thrive under pressure. Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to patients with acute cardiac conditions, including post-surgical recovery, heart failure, myocardial infarctions, and arrhythmias. Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced therapies such as hemodynamic monitoring, ventilators, ECMO, and intra-aortic balloon pumps. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized care plans. Administer medications, perform advanced cardiac assessments, and intervene in life-threatening emergencies. Educate patients and families about their condition, treatments, and post-discharge care. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations. Qualifications Associate Degree in Nursing State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire We're all about well-being, starting with yours.
