CMM Programmer

Working knowledge of basic blueprints specifications, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.

Create and edit dimensional inspection programs for the CMM, both interactively and off-line using PC-DMIS.

Create program set up and execution documentation detailing preparation, part orientation and inspection plans for other inspection personnel.

Operate inspection equipment such as portable CMM, CNC CMM, and manual inspection equipment as required as the role of an inspector to inspect parts, gages, and tooling as required.

Must be able to interact and assist with manufacturing, engineering, and inspection personnel in regards to part conformance.

Understands and supports the quality policy.

Must be able to read, interpret, and work from engineering prints, drawings, and sketches and a good working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T).

Ability to analyze data and respond accordingly.

Self-motivated and detail oriented in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to use common shop measuring equipment and tools.

Must be flexible and multi-tasking team player with a good attitude.

This position may be subject to frequent or occasional job interruptions that may cause a change in immediate priorities and/or work focus.

While performing duties of this position, employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, and/or bend.

This position pays an hourly beginning wage of $. The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(K) match, profit sharing, etc.
