DESCRIPTION

Holiday Inn Express & Suites is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to help maintain clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas in Warrenton, VA . If you take pride in cleanliness and enjoy working as part of a team, we encourage you to apply.

Pay: $14-$16 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Full-time and Part-time available

Shift: Day shift; weekend and holiday availability required

Location: On-site (not remote)

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Assistant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards
• Change bed linens and replace towels and amenities
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust guest rooms and common areas
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms
• Replenish housekeeping carts and supplies
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (not required)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and meet daily room quotas
• Reliable transportation to and from work

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to push/pull housekeeping carts
