NetSuite Developer

As a NetSuite Developer, a major part of the candidate’s role is to employ web-based and back-end database technologies to leverage and customize out-of-box NetSuite solutions. This will involve NetSuite’s API and SuiteCloud platforms, Google Cloud Platform and Oracle Databases.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop web APIs to support Enterprise Systems integration
• Develop Enterprise Application Integration adapters that support business workflows, data migration and customer support systems
• Evaluate business/ functional requirements, impact on existing environments and implement solutions using SuiteCloud Developer Framework
• Develop features using SuiteScript (1.0 and 2.x) via Development Environment, SuiteCloud IDE WebServices - SOAP, REST
• User Event, RESTlets & Suitelets (Server side)
• Client Side
• Scheduled Jobs
• Workflow
• Change Management using Rally, GitHub, or similar tools
• Create detailed documentation including but not limited to technical design documents, user stories, workflow diagrams, and testing documentation.
• Utilizing SuiteTalk for building an automated Test Suite
• Perform Systems Integration Management using Google Cloud (Apigee)
• Participate in implementation tasks for NetSuite standup
• Handle data mapping between records in NetSuite and External Systems

Competencies (Knowledge / Skills Or Abilities / Behavior)

Essential

• Have strong problem-solving skills that recognize the value in automation and systems integration
• Experience in NetSuite Suitecloud customization

Desirable

• Experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions
• Experience in customizing other NetSuite WMS system is a plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
• At least 5 years relevant NetSuite experience required
• Experience working in an Agile Software Development organization
• Experience in API development and system integration is highly desirable
• Excellent knowledge of all phases of the project process with a focus on secure software
