Construction Project Manager

A nationally recognized construction and project management firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-profile arena construction project in the Kalamazoo area.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience managing large-scale commercial construction projects — ideally including sports, entertainment, or arena environments — with a strong background in building envelope systems, project execution, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day project management activities on a major, multi-year, construction project

• Oversee construction execution, scheduling, budgeting, safety, quality, and subcontractor coordination

• Manage project financials, change orders, and constructability reviews

• Lead Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders

• Coordinate complex building systems, phasing plans, and construction sequencing

• Drive projects to successful completion while maintaining schedule, budget, and safety expectations

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of commercial construction project management experience

• Experience managing large-scale, complex construction projects required

• Arena, stadium, entertainment, or similarly complex project experience strongly preferred

• Strong understanding of construction operations, envelope systems, scheduling, and budgeting

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred

• MIOSHA 30 certification preferred
