QUALITY INSPECTOR

Air Squared Manufacturing Inc seeks a Quality Inspector to ensure precise, reliable components for our advanced scroll compressors, vacuum pumps, and expanders. In the Inspection, Certification & Quality Control department, you will perform detailed dimensional and visual inspections, interpret engineering drawings and GD&T, document nonconformances, and support first article inspections. You will collaborate with engineers and production in a culture that values innovation, continuous learning, and hands-on problem-solving with cutting-edge manufacturing technology. Responsibilities Perform dimensional and visual inspections of components and assemblies using precision measuring equipment Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to verify product conformance Document inspection results and nonconformances in quality systems Support first article inspections and incoming inspection of supplied parts Collaborate with engineering and production to resolve quality issues Follow ISO 9001 and internal quality procedures and work instructions Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions Maintain inspection equipment and calibration status Support continuous improvement of inspection methods and standards Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams regarding quality status Mechanical Inspection and Technical Skills Use of calipers and micrometers Reading engineering drawings GD&T interpretation ISO 9001 quality systems First article inspection (FAI) Nonconformance documentation Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Preferred Qualifications ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) preferred GD&T training or certification preferred ISO 9001 familiarity Manufacturing or aerospace quality experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
