Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Everett, Washington.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Labor and Delivery\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/05/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 5, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a Level III high-risk perinatal unit, requiring 2+ years of L&D experience and a WA or compact RN license.Details\n \n Level III high-risk perinatal unit with 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, 2 PACU, and a 7-bay triage area\n Facility handles 200-300 deliveries per month\n Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-07:30)\n Weekend shifts required\n Floating required to Postpartum unit\n Targeted staffing ratios of 1:1 in labor, 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support, and 1:2-3 in antepartum\n No on-call responsibilities\n Uses Epic charting system\n Requirements\n \n Active WA or compact RN license required in hand at time of submission\n Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required, following AWHONN standards\n Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring\n Epic EMR experience required\n Sterile vaginal exam (SVE) competency required\n Skilled in IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood/blood product administration, and labor management\n Experience assisting with high-risk and vaginal deliveries required\n 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required\n Additional Information\n \n Provide care in a Level II Trauma Center campus with 571 total staffed beds across both campuses\n Unit supported by surgical techs, CNAs, delivering providers, CRNAs, and health unit coordinators around the clock\n Scrubs may be any color except reddish-orange\n Parking is facility paid\n Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)\n Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted site\n Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius\n First-time travelers are welcome to apply\n Former Providence staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live outside a 50-mile radius\n All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application, as post-submission requests may not be granted\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-751567.
