AWS Network Engineer

AWS Cloud Network EngineerStratacent is seeking an AWS Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and support secure and scalable AWS cloud networking infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud and extensive expertise in AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, connectivity, security, and cloud network architecture. Strong experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation is preferred. The role primarily focuses on AWS cloud networking, and on-premises networking experience is not required. Responsibilities:Design and manage VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT/Internet gateways, Transit Gateway, and Direct ConnectImplement VPN (Site-to-Site, Client VPN) and hybrid connectivity between on-prem and AWSConfigure and manage security groups, NACLs, AWS Network Firewall, and WAFSet up and monitor Route 53 (DNS), Load Balancers (ALB/NLB/GLB), and CloudFrontImplement network segmentation, VPC peering, and PrivateLink for multi-account architecturesMonitor network performance/health using CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, and third-party toolsAutomate network provisioning via Terraform/CloudFormation (IaC)Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and routing issues across environmentsEnsure compliance with security standards (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI as applicable)Collaborate with cloud architects, security, and DevOps teams on infrastructure designFamiliarity with Cisco/Palo AltoRequired Skills:Bachelors degree is required.7+ years of experience is required.Strong hands-on experience with AWS CloudExtensive experience in AWS NetworkingStrong expertise in VPC and SubnetsHands-on experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormationStrong understanding of AWS cloud networking architecturePrimarily looking for AWS cloud networking experienceOn-premises networking experience is not requiredFamiliarity with Cisco/Palo Alto is a plusAbout Us: Stratacent is an IT Managed Services firm, headquartered in Jersey City, NJ, with two global delivery centres in New York City area and New Delhi area plus offices in London, Canada and Pune, India.
