A growing construction management firm is seeking a Junior Estimator with 2+ years of experience to support preconstruction efforts on commercial interior, hospitality, and life science projects throughout Boston. Description Assist with quantity take-offs, subcontractor bidding, pricing analysis, and proposal preparation. Support preconstruction activities on commercial interiors, hospitality, and life science fit-out projects. Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients throughout the estimating process. Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate cost estimates. Help identify value engineering opportunities and value-saving solutions. Participate in bid meetings and contribute to the successful delivery of project pursuits. Maintain estimating databases, historical cost information, and bid documentation. Support multiple projects ranging from $500K to $10M in value. Profile 2+ years of estimating experience within the construction industry. Experience with commercial interiors projects strongly preferred. Knowledge of estimating practices, take-offs, subcontractor scopes, and construction costs. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong communication and organizational skills. Comfortable working in a fully office-based environment, five days per week in Downtown Boston. Motivated professional looking to grow within a smaller, entrepreneurial organization.
