Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support a community retail pharmacy team by performing essential pharmacy technician duties in a health center setting. This contract opportunity requires a dependable professional ready to contribute to smooth daily operations.
Location: Sanger, CA
Contract Duration: 5-6 months
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense prescription medications accurately within a retail/community pharmacy environment
- Assist pharmacists in managing inventory, prescription processing, and customer service
- Utilize the Rx30 pharmacy system for data entry and prescription management
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and pharmacy standards
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers regarding medication inquiries
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent retail pharmacy technician experience required
- Proficiency with the Rx30 pharmacy system preferred
- Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred but not mandatory
- Must exhibit 100% reliability with punctual attendance and no call-outs, as dependable presence is critical
