The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis will serve as a key advisor to executive leadership, partnering closely with the CFO to translate financial data into actionable business insights. This role oversees forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis while driving visibility into operational results across the enterprise. The Director will lead a small, high-caliber team and play a central role in refining financial infrastructure, enhancing reporting capabilities, and supporting strategic initiatives including long-range planning and transaction-related activities. This position requires a strong blend of analytical rigor, business acumen, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to senior stakeholders.

The right candidate for this Director of FP&A role will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline (MBA/CFA/CPA preferred)
  • 8-10+years of progressive finance experience, including leadership responsibility
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and operational analysis within a complex or multi-site environment
  • Advanced financial modeling capabilities with the ability to support strategic and investment decision-making
  • Strong systems orientation with experience leveraging tools such as Power BI, SQL, or comparable technologies for reporting and data analysis
  • Track record of improving processes, optimizing reporting structures, and driving efficiency through data and automation
  • Experience supporting M&A efforts, including financial diligence and integration planning, is a plus
  • Background in high-performing environments such as investment banking, private equity, Big 4, or large corporate finance functions is highly valued
  • Proven leadership and team development skills with the ability to mentor and elevate talent
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to distill complex analyses into clear, concise insights
  • High intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
