Investor Relations Associate

An exciting opportunity for a Client Coverage Associate/Senior Associate to support a top fund's Institutional sales effort in credit.
Principal Responsibilities
Develop and maintain an ongoing, detailed understanding of coverage, business plan, and support needs.
Assist in building, maintaining, and executing a marketing strategy for a wide range of institutional products.
Maintain a thorough understanding of product strengths/applicability and apply that knowledge in written and verbal form to clients and prospects.
Receive and send correspondence independently and on behalf of the team:
o Facilitate informational requests from clients/prospects with the ability to understand and identify sensitivities/potential issues
o Send a detailed meeting follow-up email, including any relevant customized data or research to clients and prospects
o Source, evaluate for appropriateness, and initiate RFP/DDQ process with sales/client service
Use Salesforce to manage the sales process, client engagement, and research
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required, 2+ years of experience in a fundraising support role for an asset management firm
Previous experience in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment
