About the Position

Job Title: CVICU RN Profession: RN Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: - Competent to care for both cardiac medical and cardiothoracic/vascular surgery ICU patients - Experience with Impella, IABP, and LVAD - NxStage experience preferred Description: The role involves caring for patients in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. Candidates will provide care for both cardiac medical ICU patients and cardiac/thoracic/vascular surgery ICU patients. The unit typically maintains a 2:1 patient ratio. Care may include patients with devices such as Impella, IABP, LVAD, and NxStage.
