Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced ICU RN for a travel contract in Auburn, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your critical care skills in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position requires a professional who is well-versed in ICU protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities of the ICU RN

• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Provide care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Manage arterial and central lines
• Administer continuous IV sedation, titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Handle ventilated patient care and BiPAP/CPAP management
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and perform suctioning (ETT, NT)
• Implement isolation precautions/PPE protocols
• Independently measure and interpret telemetry strips for all telemetry patients

Requirements of the ICU RN

• Must have a NY license in hand
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent ICU experience
• Experience with AllScripts EMR
• Ability to work a full 12-hour shift on the first day
