Big South Fork Medical Center, a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital is recruiting for a PRN Pharmacist.
PRN Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical services to meet the needs of patients, clinical departments, medical staff and the hospital. Provides patient care/services for all stages of the lifespan including pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- Graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy with Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree.
- Four (4) years experience in hospital pharmacy; including IV preparation, DUE/CQI activities, and supervisory experience.
- Ability to communicate well with people in person or over the telephone and with written communication.
- Ability to assess and react to situations
- Must be motivated and work independently.
- Must be flexible with work schedule.
- Must be able to perform at a fast pace and/or stressful environment.
- Ability to listen and maintain confidentiality.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration :
Maintain active registration with Tennessee Board of Pharmacy
Physical Demands :
Standing and walking throughout shift ability to lift 25 pounds.
