As a cook at The Skinny Pancake, you'll be a valued and integral part of our team from day one. We are currently seeking full-time cooks at The Skinny Pancake in Albany who are passionate about local food, supporting their team, and contributing to a bustling restaurant. Hospitality is a team sport, so cooks can expect to be scheduled to work the line, spin crepes, dishwash, or do food prep. Cooks’ compensation includes a competitive base wage plus a back-of-house RevShare split amongst kitchen staff. Cooks have a base rate of $17 - $22 per hour, depending on experience, with an average hourly RevShare of $1.62 per hour! When the restaurant is busier, your pay goes up! Responsibilities Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform opening and closing duties Prepare and maintain a clean and safe work area Food prep, cooking, crepe spinning, cleaning, and dishwashing Handle multiple food orders simultaneously, so orders are served together and meet targeted ticket times Utilize recipes and portion control Follow sanitation procedures Perform general cleaning and restocking Deliver exceptional hospitality to our guests Balance high volume with high quality Participate in ongoing training and development Work in a team-oriented, collaborative manner Qualifications What you bring to the table: Reliable, honest, respectful, and supportive of others. Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment without sacrificing presentation, quality, or cleanliness. Self-motivated achiever interested in taking on additional roles and responsibilities. Open availability and flexibility are a must. Motivated to learn quickly and grow in a professional, team-oriented environment.
