Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED certificate required.
• Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program (such as NHA or AMCA) is required.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
• At least one year of related medical assisting experience in a clinical setting or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Re-processing/procedural experience is highly preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and documenting symptoms.
• Document all required information in electronic medical records.
• Administer injections and immunizations as ordered by the provider and assist during medical procedures.
• Communicate lab results, manage prescriptions, and complete referrals accurately.
• Maintain patient areas by disinfecting exam rooms and assisting with daily cleaning and supply inventory.
• Collaborate with team members on projects and comply with all safety and regulatory requirements.

Compliance / Notes:

• Remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Comply with all OSHA and safety regulations.
