Registered Nurse – Float Pool Responsibilities Work in a Float Pool across Med/Surg, PCU, Progressive Care Unit, and Observation Unit. Complete Full‑time day shifts (3 12‑hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM). Provide nursing care to a diverse patient population including ED holds, Observation, Acute Care, Orthopedic, Oncology, and PCU units. Maintain patient ratios ranging from 4:1 to 5:1, depending on unit assignment. Support high‑acuity patients and may care for critical care patients in the Step‑Down unit. Deliver consistent, quality care across multiple departments, contributing to a strong shared‑governance model. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Minimum of 3 years of hospital RN experience. Registered Nurse license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
