“Stumpy's Lakeside Grill” is a self-serve, fast paced restaurant and marina located on Lake Granbury in Granbury TX. Our facility features a restaurant, bar, bakery, boutique, Boating/Fishing store, and a Gas station. Awarded Small Marina of the year (2025) by the Marine Association of Texas we also feature a boat rental service, and boat slip leasing.
We mainly serve American cuisine including Burgers, Tacos, fried catfish and shrimp.
Requirements
- Candidates must be Clean, professional, and personable.
- Excellent communication skills
- Willing and able to work as a team
- Able to work well at a fast pace, showing initiative, drive, and desire to not be "micro managed"
- Able to safely use a knife and other cutting tools.
- TX Food Handlers Cert.
- able to safely lift up to 50lbs
- Expresses a willingness and flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and summer holidays as needed
This job involves meat and produce products including fish, Shell fish, chicken, onions, tomatoes, citrus, jalapenos, and other food you may possibly be allergic to! Please be prepared to tell us if this may be an issue.
Responsibilities
- Cook and prepare menu items maintaining consistency and quality.
- Maintain kitchen and workstation cleanliness, organization, and rotation.
- Putting away and rotating deliveries, and working as a team!
- Set up, break down and clean workstation.
- Label, stock, and rotate inventory and all ingredients
- Assist with training new team members in correct food preparation.
- Washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning of all surfaces
- Use of Griddle, Fryer, Char broiler, Various Cutting Tools will be necessary.
