The Controller will oversee all core accounting, treasury, and financial management functions while partnering closely with the Managing Partner on key initiatives that support the firm’s continued growth.The ideal candidate is a proactive, solutions-oriented leader who can operate both strategically and tactically while helping to foster the firm’s collaborative culture.If you are interested in learning more about the firm, please message Jennifer Fukumae with Robert Half on LinkedIn for quickest consideration.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all financial operations, including treasury management, fund wires (inbound and outbound), capital call and distribution calculations, and investment of excess cashProduce and maintain 13-week rolling cash flow forecasts and annual cash flow projectionsLead the annual budgeting process, including ongoing updates and financial planning supportManage and oversee the outsourced accounting team, ensuring accurate reporting and operational efficiencyDevelop and monitor key financial metrics, management reporting, and investor reporting materialsMaintain oversight of relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisors, insurance providers, and IT partnersSupport tax compliance activities, including federal and state income taxes and sales tax requirementsPartner with firm leadership to implement operational improvements and financial best practicesRequirementsCPA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification preferredBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance8+ years of experience with at least 3–5 years in a senior accounting leadership roleStrong technical accounting knowledge with a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and ability to research and implement new standardsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analytics toolsExperience developing financial dashboards, KPIs, and management reportingStrong FP& A capabilities, including budgeting and cash flow forecastingExperience with tax compliance and financial oversight within investment management or professional services environmentsProven ability to operate in a hands-on, fast-paced environment while partnering with senior leadershipFor additional information or questions about this opportunity, feel free to reach out to Jennifer Fukumae via email or LinkedIn.Job typePerm
