Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) Qualifications   

• High School Diploma or equivalent 

• Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required 

• Long-term care experience preferred, but not required 

• Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative care team 

Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) Responsibilities  

• Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, ambulation, repositioning, and transfers 

• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident living areas 

• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team 

• Follow all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations and facility policies 

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, or Administrator
