DMI Companies, a leader in HVAC components manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Fabricator to join our dynamic team in Hampton Roads, VA. What You'll Do:
- Fabricate and assemble metal components using welding, cutting, and forming techniques and equipment.
- Read and interpret instructions, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Operate tools and machinery such as shears, presses, and welding equipment.
- Perform quality control checks to maintain our high standards.
- Collaborate with a skilled team to meet project deadlines in a safe and efficient manner.
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in metal fabrication, welding, or a related field.
- Proficiency in GMAW, GTAW, or FCAW welding processes (certifications a plus).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing or shop environment.
- Team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
