Network Architect

Our client is hiring a Senior Network Architect to lead the strategic design, architecture, and evolution of a global enterprise network environment. This is a highly technical and hands-on role responsible for ensuring the stability, security, scalability, and performance of critical data, wireless, voice, video, and network infrastructure.The ideal candidate will bring deep experience designing and managing large-scale LAN, WAN, wireless, data center, security, and SD-WAN environments. Title Network ArchitectLocation Boston, MAResponsibilitiesLead the strategic architecture and design of enterprise network infrastructure.Design, deploy, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, SD-WAN, load balancing, VoIP, video, and related infrastructure.Develop network architecture standards, policies, procedures, and best practices.Participate in the design of new offices, data centers, server rooms, and network facilities.Design and implement secure network architectures incorporating firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, NAC, IDS/IPS, DMZs, and related security technologies.Develop and maintain comprehensive network architecture and configuration documentation.Partner with infrastructure, security, and application teams on enterprise technology initiatives.Provide technical leadership on major infrastructure projects from architecture and planning through implementation and testing.Qualifications10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise networking.Extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing complex LAN, WAN, wireless, data center, and security environments.Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies, including enterprise routers, switches, data center networking, and firewalls.Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, STP, VRRP/HSRP, LACP, QoS,Experience with SD-WAN, SDN, network virtualization, VXLAN, network segmentation, and modern enterprise networking architectures.Experience with F5 or similar load balancing and application delivery technologies.Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IP address management, traffic management, and network services.CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CCDA, CCSP are nice to haveExperience with Azure cloud networking environments Compensation: $200,000-220,000 BonusAdditional Information: to apply, please contact View email address on click.appcast.io
