The team you will be a part of Whirlpool Corporation is looking for a Senior UX Manager to join our Global User Experience Design organization. As a team member you will craft experiences that simplify and delight the lives of millions of consumers worldwide, exploring sound, light, graphics, language, motion, sensors and remote capabilities. This role in summary As a Senior UX Manager , you will lead and manage a team of UX professionals, overseeing all aspects of the user experience across multiple products or initiatives. You will set strategic direction for UX, build high‑performing teams, and ensure the delivery of exceptional user experiences. Your responsibilities will include Lead, mentor, and develop high‑performing teams of UX Designers, ensuring they have the resources and guidance to succeed. Define and execute the overall UX strategy for assigned product areas or initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs. Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging exploration of new technologies, design approaches and best practices. Advocate for user‑centered design principles across the organization, influencing product strategy and decision‑making at the executive level. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, product management, engineering and marketing. Effectively communicate complex design concepts and strategies to a wide range of audiences, including senior leadership and cross‑functional teams. Continuously evaluate and improve UX processes and methodologies, implementing best practices to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness. Recruit and hire top‑tier UX talent, ensuring the team is comprised of skilled and passionate individuals aligned with the company's values and goals. Minimum requirements Bachelor's Degree in Design, Computer Science, Human‑Computer Interaction, Psychology or Engineering. 5+ years of professional experience in a design role with 2+ years of experience managing UX teams and projects. Preferred skills and experiences Strong strategic leadership, vision and data‑driven decision making. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Strong business acumen, industry knowledge and organizational influence with the ability to translate design work into business value. Proven ability to build and lead high‑performing teams.
