• Shift: 12-hour Nights (6:45pm - 7:15am, every other weekend required) - Telemetry RN / Night Shift RN
• Hours per Week: 48
• Unit Details: Progressive Care Unit (3SE Med-Surg Tele), 24 beds, 6:1 ratio, Epic EMR, mixed acuity

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years acute care Registered Nurse (RN) experience; Progressive Care Unit or Med-Surg Tele experience preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana at time of submission (Indiana RN license)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred (electronic medical record experience)
• Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) required

Responsibilities - Progressive Care Unit / Telemetry RN

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and timely reassessments per policy and patient condition
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions, including telemetry monitoring and cardiac assessments
• Provide patient and family education on care, treatment, and discharge planning
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel and serve as a mentor/preceptor to other nursing staff
• Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives to support unit performance
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and unit protocols
• Utilize and monitor equipment such as IV/PCA pumps, wound vacs, glucometers; care for patients with trachs, feeding tubes, CPAP, and dialysis access
