ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

Location: Near Roseville, CA Pay Rate: $26 - $33/hour DOE Industry: Construction Ledgent Finance & Accounting, a Roth Staffing Company, is partnering with a growing and well-established construction company near Roseville to identify an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys owning the accounts payable process from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have experience in full-cycle accounts payable, invoice processing, three-way matching, and weekly check runs. Candidates with payroll experience are highly encouraged to apply. What You’ll Do Process high-volume invoices from receipt through payment Perform full-cycle accounts payable functions Complete accurate three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries Prepare and process weekly check runs Reconcile vendor statements and ensure timely payment of invoices Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and approval workflows Support the accounting team with reporting and special projects as needed Qualifications 3+ years of accounts payable experience Full-cycle AP experience required Experience with three-way matching and weekly check runs Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Construction industry experience is a plus Payroll processing experience is a plus Why This Opportunity?
